- Codes & promo codeAs of November 4, 2026 the developer has not published a universal Cut a Rock promo code. Several guides report reward tickets that appear on the map instead; we list any real code here the day it is confirmed.
- Beginner guideTrain Power on an anvil, use it to break the next floor, collect rocks, bring them home and load them into cutting machines. Sell what comes out, then spend the Money on a better pickaxe, more bag space or machine upgrades. Repeat deeper.
- Weather eventThe official Roblox Events listing shows a NEW WEATHER EVENT in Cut a Rock from November 6, 2026 at 18:00 UTC to November 9 at 19:00 UTC, about 73 hours. Its only description is "Join to collect stones!". What the weather does has not been published yet.
- CalculatorsFour calculators built on official store data and reported pickaxe stats: type your Money to see the best pickaxe you can afford, the time left on a cut to see its Finish Now price, the boosts you want to see if the bundle is cheaper, and a Royal Relic target to see your odds.
Progress
- PowerPower is what breaks the doors between floors. You gain it by training on anvils; a higher anvil multiplier and a better pickaxe both raise the rate, and you keep gaining Power while you are offline.
- AnvilsThe AFK training area has anvils from 5x to 200x. The higher ones unlock through your Index, or with a game pass: 25x for 199 Robux, 50x for 299, 100x for 399 and 200x for 499. The 200x anvil needs 24 Index entries without the pass.
- PickaxesThere are 38 regular pickaxes: the default Stone (20x) plus 37 you buy, ending with Infinity Reign (a reported 1.8Dc Mining Power multiplier, 5.7Sp Money or 10,720 Robux). Each one multiplies your Power gain about 7 times over the previous one. 8 more are limited, with a fixed global stock.
- Floors & rock rarityThe mine is split into floors, each behind a door you break with Power. Each room shows a panel under its durability bar listing which rock rarities can appear and their percentages. Deeper rooms show rarer rocks.
- Rarity listRock rarities go Common, Uncommon, Rare, Elite, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, Ancient, Immortal, Eternal, Secret and Hidden. Gameplay videos show a new rarity every couple of rooms: Legendary around Room 9, Ancient by Room 15. On every room panel checked so far, the 0.1% entry is Nova Prism, later Genesis Monolith.
- Cutting machinesPlace a rock in a free machine, wait for the timer to finish and collect the materials when it reads Ready!. Several machines run at once and they keep cutting while you are offline, so keep them all busy.
- Pocket & EyesightThe UPGRADE stall sells two upgrades. Pocket adds one bag slot per level, so you carry more rocks per trip. Eyesight rules out one wrong core per level, so you can see what a rock will give before you cut it, which helps you finish the Index.
Collect & shop
- Index & aurasEvery new core you cut out of a rock is registered in your Index. Entries unlock higher anvils (the 200x anvil needs 24) and auras, and collecting every core of one rarity is reported to give a permanent Money multiplier.
- Limited stonesFour limited stones are sold for Robux, in packs of 1, 3, 5 and 10: Royal Relic, Nova Prism, Genesis Monolith and Sun Scarab. Only Royal Relic lists its odds in the store: King's Fortune 35%, Key of Camelot 30%, Merlin's Cloak 20%, Imperial Crown 10% and Excalibur 5%.
- GamepassesCut a Rock has only 4 real game passes, all anvils: 25x (199 Robux), 50x (299), 100x (399) and 200x (499). The four permanent 2x boosts cost 79 Robux each, or 249 for all four in the Ultimate Boost Bundle. The best-value item is the 19 Robux Starter Pack.
- Pets (update)Duality Works teased a pets update in the Cut a Rock description in October 2026. Pet names, eggs, rarities and boosts have not been confirmed yet. This page will list them as soon as they are confirmed by the official store or gameplay reports.
