What Power does

Every floor of the mine is sealed by a door with its own durability. Your Power decides whether you can break it, so Power is the stat that gates how deep you can go and which rocks you can reach.

How to gain Power

  • Stand on an anvil in the training area. Higher anvils give a bigger multiplier; see anvils.
  • Your equipped pickaxe affects how fast Power grows on the anvil; see pickaxes.
  • The game keeps adding Power while you are offline, so log off standing on your best anvil.

The two boosts stack in different places: 2x AFK Speed makes your Power number grow twice as fast, while 2x Power leaves the number alone and doubles the damage it does to doors. Both help you break floors sooner.

How much a pickaxe changes Power

Each pickaxe has a Mining Power multiplier, reported from 20x for the default Stone pickaxe up to 1.8 decillion for Infinity Reign. Each step is about 7 times the one before, which is why a new pickaxe is the biggest Power upgrade you can buy.
