The core loop

- Train. Stand on an anvil in the training area to gain Power. See anvils.
- Break. Each floor is closed by a door. Hit it with enough Power to break through. See floors.
- Collect. Pick up rocks. Your bag only holds a few at first. See upgrades.
- Cut. Back at base, place each rock in a cutting machine and wait until it reads Ready!. See machines.
- Sell and upgrade. Sell the materials for Money and buy the next pickaxe or upgrade.
What to do in your first hour
- Fill every machine before you leave on a collection run, so nothing sits idle.
- Buy bag space (Pocket) early if you keep walking back half-empty machines; buy a pickaxe if you are stuck at a door.
- Every new material goes into your Index. Completing entries unlocks auras and higher anvils, so new materials are worth more than repeats.
- Before logging off, start the longest cuts you can and leave your character on your best anvil.
Buying rocks at the farm
A rock shop in your home area sells rocks for Money. It rotates between farms, and gameplay videos show Starter Farm, Standard Farm, Diamond Farm, Gold Farm, Rainbow Farm. Better farms sell rarer rocks at much higher prices, so it is a way to skip ahead in the Index once you have spare Money.
- After you pick up a rock you can teleport back up instead of climbing.
- The SELL stand is a walk from your base, so sell in bulk.
- You can drop a rock from a full pocket to make room for a better one.
- Uncut rocks can be sold too, but for far less than the cores inside them.
