Getting the most out of machines
- Load every machine before a collection trip, then collect on the way back.
- A single cut can run for up to 24 hours (the cutting limit named in the official store), so start the longest ones before you log off.
- Upgrading a machine makes it cut faster. One upgrade from Level 3 to Level 4 was reported at $160K Money, and a Level 3 cutter was shown accepting Uncommon, Rare and Elite rocks.
- Sportskeeda and the Radex Tips video both report that after a few upgrades, low-rarity rocks are cut almost instantly.
- You start with one machine and can buy more next to it. The BemmyBlock video shows a maximum of six machines.
- Rarer rocks take much longer to cut: in the videos, an un-upgraded machine needed about half an hour for Mythic and Immortal rocks, and upgrades brought that down to minutes or seconds.
- Some limited stones need a high machine level: Sun Scarab could not be cut until machine level 18, as reported in the BemmyBlock video. It can still be sold uncut.
- 2x Machine Speed (79 Robux) doubles cutting speed permanently. See gamepasses.
Finish Now: what skipping a cut costs
Finish Now instantly completes one stone in a machine. The price depends on the time left: every started 5 minutes costs 5 Robux, which works out to 1 Robux per minute, capped at 300 Robux for anything over 295 minutes.
From the 60 official Finish Now tiers in the Roblox store.
| Time left | Finish Now tier | Robux |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 5 minutes | Tier 1 | 5 |
| 5 to 10 minutes | Tier 2 | 10 |
| 25 to 30 minutes | Tier 6 | 30 |
| 55 to 60 minutes | Tier 12 | 60 |
| 1h 55m to 2 hours | Tier 24 | 120 |
| 3h 55m to 4 hours | Tier 48 | 240 |
| Over 4h 55m (up to 24 hours) | Tier 60 | 300 |
Because the price stops at 300 Robux, Finish Now is cheapest per minute on the longest cuts: a 24-hour cut costs the same 300 Robux as a 5-hour one. For cuts under 5 hours, waiting or 2x Machine Speed is usually better value.
